SCVO’s Capacity Building Team are running three training courses in March 2009 on Financial Reporting, Understanding and Using Outcomes, and Introduction to Sustainable Funding.  Brief details are given below followed by a booking form that you can download and return to SCVO to confirm your place.Â
Financial Reporting
Monday 2nd March 2009

For finance staff or volunteers, Treasurers and other Board members that would like a better understanding of their organisation’s reporting requirements at the end of the financial year.

Understanding and Using Outcomes
Tuesday 17th March 2009

Discover what an outcome is, what it looks like and how they can help you to express and report the changes that your work delivers. For staff or volunteers engaged in planning, fundraising or monitoring services, projects or activities.
Introduction to Sustainable Funding
Friday 27th March 2009
9:45am – 1:00pm
Find out how to generate funds that are stable, suitable and sufficient for your organisation. Essential learning for anyone engaged in fundraising.
All courses will be held at the Yemeni Community Association (Greets Green Access Centre) in West Bromwich. Refreshments and lunch will be provided.
The cost of the training is per person per course and dependent on the annual income of your group or organisation (between £10 and £30). If an organisation books one or more places on three or more courses, they will benefit from a 20% reduction in booking fees (this offer includes places booked on the ‘Voice’ workshop).
