NEWSFLASH! VCS Invited To Join Future Jobs Fund BidPublished on 5th June, 2009
A bid is being developed across Birmingham, the Black Country, Solihull and Telford to round one of the Future Jobs Fund and expressions of interest are invited from voluntary sector organisations wanting to be part of the bid. The main aim of the fund is to create 150,000 jobs between October 2009 and March 2011; 100,000 for young people 18 – 24 and 50,000 in unemployment hotspots for long term unemployed over 24 and on benefits.
