Sandwell Primary Care Trust will shortly be undertaking a review of maternity services to identify a number of potential options for future delivery.  It is important that as part of this review, a range of stakeholders are involved to help to develop a short list of options for future consideration and wider consultation.

It is important that the views of the local Voluntary and Community Sector are included in this option appraisal as they are at the centre of the local community and can help to represent the views of their service users.  If you are an organisation providing services around health, children, families and parents and women’s issues you are invited to attend a meeting on Wednesday 26th August at 1.00 p.m to provide your valuable input into this process.   You will receive expert advice from clinicians and senior managers about the clinical case for change, the benefits to be realised and developing a short list of options for formal consultation.
