Don't miss out on the opportunity to apply for the Neighbourhood Learning in Deprived Communities (NLDC) fund.  Applications have re-opened and will close at 4.00pm, 30 November 2009. The fund focuses upon skills and employment to enhance the economic prosperity and quality of life for deprived people in Sandwell.

Applications are now open for the Neighbourhood Learning in Deprived Communities (NLDC) fund and will close on 20 October 2009. The fund focuses upon skills and employment to enhance the economic prosperity and quality of life for deprived people in Sandwell.  The fund aims to benefit voluntary organsations delivering client engagement (mentoring/outreach) activities, skills for jobs (such as pre-employment activities) or organising work placements for the following target groups:- Lone parents Incapacity Benefit claimants Disadvantaged BME Disabled persons Older people 45+ Migrant workers People with no or low skills.
