Sandwell Council of Voluntary Organisations - SCVO. Supporting the Growth of Community Action in Sandwell.

SCVO are working in partnership with Sandwell Council and the Big Lottery Fund to deliver a training day on Awards for All, the small grants programme of the Big Lottery Fund.  Community groups in Sandwell are invited to attend and find out how they can get access to a grant of up to £10,000 for their community. 

Awards For All Training Day and Funding Surgery
Friday 4th December 2009, 09.30 am to 3.00 pm
Sandwell Council House, Oldbury

Awards for All aims to fund projects the meet one or more of the following needs:

People have better chances in life
Stronger communities
Improved rural and urban environments
Healthier and more active people and communities

The training will cover how groups can express the purpose and need for the project or activity for which they are applying. It will also support groups in identifying the changes that will or may occur as a result of the project being delivered.

Those attending the training are asked to come with a particular project or activity in mind.
