The European Social Fund (ESF) and Black Country Learning and Skills Council has opened its third round of Community Grants aimed at extending employment opportunities for all. Do It Awards, a partnership between UnLtd and Sport Relief, is now open to applications. Grants of up to £10,000 are available for innovative projects led by motivated young people aged 18 -21.
This introductory-level seminar is intended for people involved in the community sector who want to provide goods or services on a profit-making basis, but with the profits used for charitable or community purposes.
SCVO’s first ever survey of Sandwell’s Voluntary and Community Sector (VCS) leadership, undertaken during the month of October, has proved to be an overwhelming success, with almost one quarter of Sector leaders sharing invaluable insights into their current challenges and revealing their feelings on the future.
