Sandwell Council of Voluntary Organisations - SCVO. Supporting the Growth of Community Action in Sandwell.

On Tuesday 2nd March 2010 SCVO, Sandwell Volunteer Centre and Centrepoint Disclosure are holding a briefing event to help voluntary and community organisations understand changes in legislation for the protection of children and vulnerable adults.

In July 2010 the new Independent Safeguarding Authority, established to administer and enforce the new legislation, will require all individuals and any group or organisation who provide services to children and vulnerable adults to comply with the new legislation.
