A free online training course to help you understand how to win public sector contracts is available online.   The course is aimed at people from all sectors with responsibility for business development, who wish to learn more about public sector contract processes. 

After completing the course you will have a better understanding of how to:

• identify the advantages and disadvantages of dealing with public bodies.
• understand how different types of contract are defined, advertised and dealt with.
• understand approved supplier lists and framework agreements.
• search for and find public sector opportunities.
• identify the key stages in the tendering process.

No prior knowledge or experience is needed to study and there are no formal entry requirements for the course offered by Learn Direct Business.
