On 22 June SCVO held its Summer Conference for Sandwell voluntary and community groups. The conference focused on discussions around the importance of the sector thinking longer term about organisational development and how organisations can take practical steps to sustain themselves in the future. Speakers gave a national and local perspective on issues of importance and delegates heard a case study from an organisation who had been successful in coming through difficult times.
