Sandwell’s Voluntary and Community Sector are set to benefit from two new grants programmes. Migration Impact Fund We will make funds available to support local organisations which assist migrant communities from Eastern Europe to make their home in the borough. The programme, which forms a part of Sandwell’s delivery of the government’s Migration Impact Fund, will be administered by SCVO from the 14 December 2010 with grants being allocated by March 2011. Established local voluntary and community organisations delivering activities and services to these communities will be able to apply for small grants of between £250 and £2,500. SCVO are running a number of short training sessions to support your skills and capacity to generate more funding income. At each training session we will also be demonstrating the new 'Funding Portal' that will be coming on line in the New Year.
