SCVO are offering a training course giving an overview of collaborative working, from initial scoping to putting together collaborative bids. Key Learning: • Recognising if your organisation is ready for collaborative working • Understanding and choosing from a range of collaborative working models • Confidently create a case for a collaborative approach to deliver local public services, or for commissioning purposes. SCVO are running a training course for voluntary and community organisations who are new to fundraising. Step Forward to Shape Sandwell’s Health and Social Care ConsortiumPublished on 20th May, 2011

SCVO hosted a special workshop on Friday 6 May 2011 which focused upon consortium building for health and social care organisations, who wish to deliver public sector contracts.  A range of guest speakers including Birmingham Mental Health Consortium and Birmingham Disability Consortium  shared their knowledge and expertise with Sandwell based organisations. The workshop was a success, stimulating the need to form a Working Group to take forward the important work of developing the emerging  Consortium to it's launch phase.  SCVO ...
