The Big Lottery Fund (BLF) Pledges £110m over four years to support older people The first part of this initiative is £10m Silver Dreams Fund supported by the Daily Mail - applications from £50,000 - £200,00 with a deadline of 28 October 2010.  The BLF wants to fund projects that support people who are aged 50 and above and aim to engage with isolated older people, particularly by encouraging more active older people to volunteer to help others who are less able.
