SCVO are pleased to be working in partnership with the Black Country Consortium to deliver Community Grants. Grants of up to £12,000 are available to support local people to move closer to the labour market. To be eligible, organisations must have a turnover of £150,000 or less. Local voluntary and community organisations continue to prove resillient in the face of increased demands and against a backdrop of diminishing funds, reveals a new SCVO report on Sandwell's VCS. The report, compiled using data from SCVO's Voluntary Sector Directory and drawing on feedback from it's recent VCS Leaders Survey, also reveals the Sector's own 'squeezed middle'.  Whilst smaller organisations and larger organisations have managed relatively well in the last 12 months, leaders of medium sized organisations report that the cuts are hitting them hardest.  This part of the Sector is also least positive about its engagement with the local public ...
