The 2014-2020 European Structural and Investment Funds Growth Programme

Funding & Finance - Piggy BankThe 2014-2020 European Structural and Investment Funds Growth Programme has now been launched and includes €3.6 billion of European Regional Development Fund (ERDF) and €3.5 billion of European Social Fund (ESF), including the Youth Employment Initiative. Organisations can now apply to run projects that create jobs and economic growth.

The programmes’ key objectives include:

• Research and innovation
• Supporting small and medium size enterprises
• Creating a low carbon economy
• Increasing labour market participation
• Promoting social inclusion
• Developing people’s skills
• Supporting micro and small rural businesses
• Investing in small scale renewable and broadband investments
• Supporting tourism activities
