    Sandwell Young Carers seeks Education Support Officer

    Sandwell Young Carers is a registered charity providing services to children and young people, aged 5-18 years, living in Sandwell, whose lives are affected as a result of caring for a dependent family member.

    If you would like to make a real difference to the lives of the young carers of Sandwell then please take a look at the vacancy below to see if you have the expertise, knowledge and skills to join us.

    We are looking to recruit;

    Education Support Officer – £20,456 per annum (37 hours per week)
    Someone who can work with local education environments to increase attendance, raise attainment and improve the quality of life for individual young carers. This post is funded through the Big Lottery Fund.

    Job-share would be considered for suitable applicants for this post.

    The above position requires the post holder to be flexible, sensitive, child-centred, trustworthy and reliable, have experience of working with both children and young people and able to work to the organisation’s policies and procedures.
