Community Initiatives Funding Reminder – Deadline 1st June
The West Midlands Police and Crime Commissioner has made £200,000 available to help fund voluntary and community activity which help and support people having to self-isolate due to the coronavirus.
Over the next six months constituted community groups and organisations can bid for funding of up to £5,000 from the Community Initiatives Fund. The money is allocated from items seized from criminals under the Proceeds of Crime Act. The aim of the fund is to provide practical support for organisations who are responding to communities including online, practical and spiritual support, and the use of local supply chains. Applicants will not be required to match fund, but projects which contribute additional funds will be looked upon favourably.
The deadline for applications in this round is the 1st June 2020 – please view for further information – https://www.westmidlands-pcc.gov.uk/community-initiatives-fund/
