Residents and businesses in Sandwell are being urged to have their say on what improvements they would like to see as part of the Government’s Towns Fund deal which will see an investment of up to £75 million in Sandwell.

There will be £25 million available per town selected to develop innovative regeneration plans.
Last year, the Government announced that 101 towns would benefit from the Towns Fund deal – including West Bromwich, Rowley Regis and Smethwick – in Sandwell.

Councillor Danny Millard, cabinet member for Inclusive Economic Growth, said: “It is very important that the public gets to have their say putting forward ideas that will directly shape the future of Sandwell.

“I am very excited that we take this once in a life time opportunity to transform Sandwell for generations to come”.

Sandwell Council Deputy Leader, Councillor Maria Crompton, added: “This is a really exciting opportunity to bring investment into Sandwell, we want to hear from as many people as possible. Don’t be shy, get involved and help shape your town’s future.”

We want you to get involved and have your say in the development of the Towns Fund deal by completing a short survey.

The first survey is now live at www.sandwell.gov.uk/townsfund until 25 August with a phase 2 survey expected in September
