Disabled People’s Organisations Covid-19 Emergency Fund
There is an opportunity for Disabled People’s Organisations (DPOs) to apply for funding. The Midlands has received £174,000 to distribute amongst grassroots DPOs in response to Covid-19 related needs, in one or more of the areas of Independent Living, Isolation and Income
Disabled People’s Organisations may apply for funding between £1,000 and £25,000 with the funding period being 8 months from 1 November 2020 to 30 June 2021. All the money must be spent by the end of this period. The Funders expect that:
50% of grants will be between £1,000 and £5,000;
25% of grants will be between £5,000 and £15,000; and
25% of grants will be between £15,000 and £25,000.
The application process is a simple online form with five sections, including a section on the project you are applying to fund and the planned finances related to it.
