The Sandwell Community Offer was launched in April 2020 with the aim of helping Sandwell residents benefit from the wide range of support available through voluntary and community sector organisations in their area. Lead organisations are inviting local community groups and partners to come and find out more at a Briefing Event to be held on 19th November 2020.

The Community Offer, which has been made possible through long-term investment from the Sandwell Better Care Fund, is being delivered through a strong partnership of local voluntary and community sector (VCS) organisations across all six towns in Sandwell. It offers a free wellbeing service with open access for everybody aged 18 years and over from whatever background or situation. This event will showcase the work of the Community Offer and is for local provider organisations and anyone who may wish to promote the service or signpost local residents to it. The briefing will include:-

    – The aims and approach of the Community Offer programme

    – What support’s being delivered in each area

    – Who can benefit from support

    – Current activities and focus during the Covid 19 pandemic

    – How your organisation can support or connect with the Community Offer both now or in the future

The event will run from 12 noon to 1.00 pm on Thursday 19th November and will include a time to ask questions of Community Offer providers.

The meeting will be held through Zoom, and the joining instructions will be sent to you nearer the time of the meeting.
