Charities Could Be Missing Out on In-Memoriam Donations
A Third Sector report explains that charities could be missing out on in-memoriam donations because too many are failing to update their funeral support to take account of the coronavirus crisis warns Legacy Foresight (a legacy consortium).
It is reported that in memory giving of a loved one is worth about £2.2bn a year to UK charities, the consortium says, with donations collected at funerals accounting for one-third of the total value of such gifts.
Could this be a new means of income for your charity to explore and seek to attract into the organisation moving forward?
