HMRC Grant Funding for Advice Services
HMRC is making funding of £4.98 million available to charities, voluntary and community organisations, social enterprises, and co-operatives to help them provide advice and support hard to reach people who need extra help understanding and complying with their tax obligations and claiming their entitlements, including those who are digitally excluded.
This might include:
• those with disabilities, mental health or learning difficulties;
• those on low income or in debt;
• older people;
• migrants;
• or carers.
Funding of between £20,000 and £750,000 (with a maximum threshold set at 50% of an organisation’s turnover) is available for activities which include one of the following:
• advice and support,
• digital inclusion,
• and specialist support and referrals.
The deadline for applications is the 27th November 2020.
