    Good Deal for Volunteer Management Course

    Fircroft College in Selly Oak is launching a new cut-price Volunteer Management course.
    Starting in January 2022, the Institute of Leadership and Management Level 3 Certificate in Management of Volunteers will be a combination of residential and online learning. Cost ranges from free to £150, depending on your circumstances and postcode.

    There are no formal entry requirements for the course, funded by West Midlands Combined Authority. Applicants need to be either working as volunteer managers and co-ordinators with a hands-on role in supporting volunteers, or have had previous experience of working with and managing/supervising volunteers and who may not currently be in employment or a volunteering role.

    Four key areas covered will be: Promoting volunteering and recruiting volunteers; Supervising and supporting volunteers; Managing volunteer agreements; Managing risk in relation to volunteers.
    Residential Dates 2021 (3 days, 2 nights, Friday to Sunday): 22nd January – 24th January; 5th March – 7th March; 23rd April – 25th April. Online sessions are Friday mornings.
