Sandwell and West Birmingham CCG is currently reviewing local Stroke Recovery services, which support patients when their stay in hospital comes to an end and recovery continues at home.
To support this work and influence how the service is commissioned in the future, the CCG would welcome feedback on:
• The stroke recovery service in Sandwell, currently delivered by the Stroke Association.
• Wider aspects of care that support stroke recovery, such as speech and language therapy or physiotherapy which are delivered by your local NHS hospital Trust.
The survey will run until 12th February 2021 and will be most relevant to those who have experience with the service, (or someone they know) either as a patient, carer or professional.
If you are interested in taking part but unable to feedback on the current service, there are still some questions the CCG would welcome your thoughts on, to help them shape how the service is delivered in the future. For example, what does or should best practice look like, and what are the most important things to get right, when supporting people recovering from a stroke.
