    Citizens Advice seeks to appoint Locality Manager

    Are you an experienced Manager looking for a new exciting challenge? Citizens Advice Sandwell & Walsall was established over 30 years ago and supports thousands of people a year giving advice and support on debt, immigration, benefits, consumer and employment rights as well as many other welfare issues. Citizens Advice is a leading charity local to the Black Country and a member of a national organisation.

    Hours: 37 hours per week
    Salary: £31,728 per annum

    This role is responsible for the management of the Walsall locality. You will coach, develop and lead a team of staff and volunteers whilst working collaboratively with the Management Team across the organisation reporting to the Operations Manager.

    This is a very busy locality team, the role needs someone who has excellent people management skills, is forward thinking, innovative, and a strong communicator with excellent planning and organisational skills.

    Key Tasks:
    To lead, develop and manage a team, taking responsibility for the work that they do
    To lead on and drive forward positive changes within the locality
    To be responsible for the day to day smooth running of the locality
    To ensure the service is delivered efficiently in line with contract requirements under the guidance of the Operations Manager
    To support the Operations Manager in the area of change management where service delivery requires improvements or changes.

    To succeed in this role Citizens Advice is looking for someone who has experience, and is ready to move to the next level. This will be a busy and varied role so you will need to work autonomously whilst problem solving and making confident decisions.
