Healthwatch Sandwell has Digital Engagement Officer Post

Home based with some occasional travel required throughout Sandwell, Healthwatch Sandwell is looking to recruit a Digital Engagement Officer to join their team. They are looking for a person who has experience of all digital platforms and someone who can increase the profile of Healthwatch Sandwell through social media and help local people share their experiences and ideas about improving health and social care services.

Hours: 18.5 hours per week
Salary: £21,000 FTE (actual £10,500)

If you have the right skills and experience, are passionate about working with local people via community engagement and networking, then this could be the job for you. The role will allow you to use your extensive digital communication skills to work collaboratively with health and social care partners, and to gather local residents’ views and experiences of health and social care in Sandwell.

You should be an enthusiastic and self-motivated individual who can contribute to the work of the organisation and play an active lead in promoting its work across all sections of the community.

This is an important time to be joining Healthwatch Sandwell. Notably, with the UK coming out of the COVID-19 pandemic and the effect that this has had on health and social care services across the county, alongside proposed future changes to NHS and local government structures. The voice of Healthwatch has never been more important.
