Happy Volunteers’ Week!

This week (June 1-7) we officially say a heartfelt thanks to Sandwell’s huge ‘army’ of helpers, giving their time freely for the benefit of the community.

Of course we show our gratitude to volunteers all year round, whether they’re our friends and neighbours doing a bit of shopping for us when we can’t, or the chairman of the charity sharing their expertise to provide a valuable service to hundreds. But this week, National Volunteers’ Week, we really put them in the spotlight with a proper show of support.
