    Community Connect Foundation: Community Engagement Officer

    Community Connect Foundation provides a wide range of services to the communities of Smethwick. They have secured funding to provide a service aiming to engage and capacity build disadvantaged people, particularly minority ethnic communities living in the area.

    They are seeking a Part-time experienced Community Engagement Officer to develop and support capacity building activities with BAME communities, particularly the Bangladeshi community
    residing in Smethwick.

    The ideal candidate will be a good communicator, have substantial experience of working with hard-to-reach groups, have a good understanding of issues facing disadvantaged BAME communities and, preferably, be able to speak Bangla (desirable).

    Part time: 22.5 Hrs per week
    Salary: £14,567 Per annum (£7,540.19 – Bridges; £7,026.50 – Non-Bridges)
    Contract: until 31/12/2022
