Life after Covid-19 Restrictions: Do you know what support is available?

It is good to know Covid-19 restrictions are lifting and life can be a little more relaxed. However, it is still a contagious disease and can affect some of us more than others, so good infection control is still important. In addition, whilst some people are happy to return to social groups and events, others are more hesitant to leave home and are missing out on things they once enjoyed so much.

If you are a community group in Sandwell you probably know the Council, through SCVO, have provided funding to promote awareness and good practice about Covid-19. There are funds remaining which you can apply for. In addition, there is further money if you need to change some activities for a short time. For example, you might need to hire a larger venue or hold smaller meetings in different locations so people don’t have to travel as far. If this is causing you extra expenditure, then think about what support you might need and contact SCVO for details about how to apply for funding.

Talk though your ideas with either Barbara barbara@scvo.info call 07859 913363, or Liz liz@scvo.info call 07923 259821, who will be happy to advise and guide you.

    Let’s get Sandwell socialising again!
