    Diabetes UK are running a free 10-week ‘Get Moving’ course

    Diabetes UK are running a free 10-week Get Moving 10-week course starting Thursday, 19th May.  The one- hour sessions will be from 11. 30 am to 12.30 pm at Brasshouse Community Centre, Brasshouse Lane, Smethwick B66 1BA.

    The Get Moving Programme is for anyone with type1 or type 2 diabetes, who are currently doing less than 30 minutes of physical activity per week, including walking.  The course will start on Thursday 19th May, 11.30 to 12.30 pm at Brasshouse Community Centre, Brasshouse Lane, Smethwick B66 1BA.

    Each week participants will take part in low impact physical activities.  The course also will cover different topics around the management of diabetes.  To sign up for the programme please contact Diabetes UK’s Helpline on 0345 123 2399.
