Is it business as usual for you? If not, read on to find out more about grants that can support your organisation

For many of us, it seems as if life is back to normal and returning to how things were before the Pandemic. Others are still nervous and hesitant and have maybe lost their confidence in mixing and socialising. If you are finding your organisation is not able to deliver all you did previously because people are still hesitant to return to groups and activities, then the Covid-19 support funds might be able to help.

The funds are to help voluntary sector organisations with additional costs which they may have as services resume. For example, maybe you need to hire a larger room for activities for a period, or perhaps you need to offer several smaller sessions more locally, so people don’t have to travel. You might want to offer a meal or refreshments to tempt people out and meet again or give them their own pack of mask and hand sanitizer, so they feel safer.

If you have additional expenditure because of adaptions or think extra funds would help you resume services, then why not find out more about the funding? Talk through your idea with either Liz or Barbara who will be happy to advise you and help you through the simple application process.

Contact Liz by email at liz@scvo.info or call 07923 259821.  Contact Barbara by email at barbara@scvo.info or call 07859 913363.
