Are you an enthusiastic individual, who is passionate about community development and has experience of working with residents at a grassroots level?

This is a new and exciting opportunity to support the development of a community hub in Princes End, Tipton.

Life in Community CIC is a social enterprise based in Tipton, which is committed to working with residents  in Tipton to raise aspirations through community development approaches. We have recently been awarded funding from the SCVO / Esmée Fairbairn Foundation EPIC grant programme to develop a community hub in Princes End Tipton. We are looking for a Community Development Worker to join us to facilitate this work on a 12-month fixed term contract.

Salary: SCP 20 (£26,446 per annum, pro rata — actual salary — £18,096)

     Hours per week: 24

Term: Fixed Term to 31.10.2023 with potential to extend

This is a wonderful opportunity to support an emerging organisation, which has the tenacity to support Tipton residents, through their low-level mental health and practical services.

For the job description and recruitment pack, see here.
