The Spooky Welly Walk  Birmingham is an interactive sponsored walk, with the Roy Castle Lung Cancer Foundation, where families make their way through the course of a Welly Walk visiting spooky photo stations including the Pumpkin Patch and the Mad Scientist. The Spooky Welly Walk returns to Cannon Hill Park this year and plan to entertain around 4000 visitors!

The event will take place on Saturday, 29th October, between 11.00 am & 2.00 pm, with guests arriving over 5 different time slots. Volunteer shifts will be between 10.00 am & 3.00 pm.

With over 30 activity stations, from Creepy Crafts to Terrifying Tattoos, there is plenty of frightening fun for everyone to get involved with!

The Foundation needs volunteers willing to offer their time alongside RCLCF staff to marshal the trail, monitor lines and implement crowd control, run registration huts inviting guests and issuing wristbands, and supervise the range of activities at each station.

Fundraising is a huge part of the work done by the RCLCF and any support received from individuals and organisations in local communities is very much appreciated.

The event is an opportunity to enjoy Halloween celebrations, support an important cause and possibly gain some hands-on experience!

If you would like to be a volunteer or have questions about Spooky Welly Walk, please contact Jessica Mellor, Events Assistant, call 0333 323 7200 Ext. 126 or email jessica.mellor@roycastle.org
