Sandwell Consortium: Projects & Team Support Officer
Sandwell Consortium is looking for an enthusiastic team member to support its projects and its core staff team. This key role will provide support for our programmes that deliver employment support, health and wellbeing, advice, language learning and other community-based services for residents in disadvantaged communities across Sandwell.
You will support the monitoring and performance reporting of projects and services delivered by the Consortium members and delivery partners. In the early weeks or employment, a key focus will be to support the winding down of the Bridges project (funded by the European Social Fund and the National Lottery Community Fund as part of the Building Better Opportunities programme).
This role also supports the Consortium CEO and staff team through communications, office admin systems and support for committees and events.
We are looking for someone who:
- has experience and skills in monitoring and supporting projects
- is comfortable using Advice Pro or similar database, and MS Office 365
- has strong organising skills and is able to manage deadlines
- is confident in verbal and written communication, and can design simple promotional materials
- is self-motivated and used to working as part of a busy team.
Salary £21,500 per annum (full-time)
Working Hours 28-37 hours per week (negotiable)
Contract: Fixed term to 31st March 2024, with extension if funding allows
Location West Bromwich (to 30th March 2023) and Oldbury (from 31st March 2023)
