Ever wondered what Code Club is? You can find out on Thursday February 9th when the first ‘in the room’ discovery session is hosted in Sandwell.

The training is open to teachers and staff/volunteers from community venues.  During the session you will learn more about Code Club and how you can start or support a club at your school or local venue. You’ll discuss the practicalities of running a Code Club session, hear from the experiences of other Code Clubs in the community and do some practical coding on an animation project.

No previous coding experience is required to attend the workshop or to start a Code Club. All that’s needed is an enthusiasm to learn and grow alongside your Code Club members.

The workshop will be at Summerhill Primary Academy in Tipton from 3.30 to 5.30pm (snacks will be served from 3.00pm).

Bus Nos. 11, 229 and 42 follow routes that pass near Summerhill. If you are driving, you are welcome to park in the school’s car park if you arrive before 3:15 pm. After 3:15pm, street parking is available.

To attend, please fill in the registration form.
