SCVO and the Sandwell Health & Care Partnership would like to invite you to a Voluntary and Community Sector Briefing event focusing on the Partnership’s new ‘Town Team’ initiative. This new development will see services from a wide range of partners including health, social care, children services, housing and the voluntary sector co-located in buildings in each of Sandwell’s six towns.

Town Teams is one of the priorities/ workstreams created by Sandwell’s Health and Care Partnership to increase local accessibility for residents and to provide a more joined-up approach to health and wellbeing support. The voluntary sector will play a hugely important role in this and so this briefing is for any organisation working with the community and improving residents’ wellbeing in Sandwell, not just those with a health or social care focus.

At the briefing you will hear more about the vision and for Town Teams, why they are being developed and what they are hoping to achieve. There will be opportunities for you to ask questions, to learn and explore further the role that the voluntary sector can play and to find out how your group or organisation can play a part in future conversations to shape this initiative.

The Briefing is taking place on Wednesday 15th March from 10.00am – 11.30am at Wood Lane Community Centre, 157 Wood Lane, West Bromwich, B70 9PT
