A good turnout for cultural celebrations
The DRSAE Centre, a register charity based in Salem Street, Tipton, hosted the Basant celebratory event on Saturday, 21st January. Basant Day is extremely important as it marks the founding of the Radhasoami faith.
The celebrations included a cultural programme, consisted of a play, songs and dance, enacted by children in English, Hindi and Sanskrit. Local MP, Mr Shaun Bailey, was guest of honour.
DRSAE would like welcome you to the Centre to join their Saturday morning activities. You could try yoga or self-defence sessions, run by a qualified yoga teacher and black-belt instructor. There is cooking and embroidery workshops and music and language classes. A hot meal is served at the end of the sessions.
