Supporting its mission of providing excellent support to charities, community groups and not-for-profits in Sandwell, SCVO is looking to recruit to its Business and Information Support role.

Have you got what it takes to join the SCVO team in this exciting new role …

… A strong attention to detail when it comes to managing the information and data that underpins our work, as well as encouraging others to be part of that journey?

… A flair and passion for customer service and a commitment to providing first-class front-of-house support?

… An effective communicator and team player with good all-round skills?

If so, then we want to hear from you!

As a key role within our team, you will take lead responsibility for a range of administrative and delivery functions, with a focus on our corporate databases and portals. You’ll work closely with staff across the organisation and Sandwell’s Voluntary and Community Sector to ensure that our systems are up-to-date, accurate, and effective, and that our data is of the highest quality.

In addition to supporting our databases and portals, you’ll provide crucial administrative support for our current and future grant-giving programmes. You’ll work closely with our team to ensure that these programmes are running smoothly, providing support as needed and ensuring that our processes are efficient and effective.

To be successful in this role, you’ll need to be highly organized, with excellent attention to detail and a passion for data management. You’ll need to be comfortable engaging and working with people at all levels, and able to communicate clearly and effectively both in writing and in person.

The successful candidate will be able to work to tight deadlines, and adaptable to changing priorities and circumstances.

In return, we offer a supportive and collaborative working environment, with opportunities for professional development and growth.

If you’re ready to take the next step in your career and join a dynamic and forward-thinking team, then we want to hear from you!

Remuneration: a competitive package that includes:

    • Salary: £23,194 – £24,496 p.a. (depending on experience) plus contributory pension scheme (6% employer contribution) to which eligible employees will be auto-enrolled
    • Working hrs: 37 hours per week (flexible arrangements can be considered where appropriate)
    • Holidays: 28 days p.a. (plus Bank Holidays)

Deadline for applications:       10am on Monday, 17th April 2023

Interviews to be held:               Friday, 28th April 2023 (provisionally)
