Funding Available: Supporting People To Recover From Drug and Alcohol Misuse

The Public Health Team at Sandwell Metropolitan Borough Council has funding available to local community and voluntary organisations to enable them to support people aged 18 or over who are recovering from drug and alcohol misuse.

Recovery from drug and alcohol abuse involves much more than cutting down or restraining from using these substances, it also includes improved health and wellbeing, building self-esteem, creating new social networks, education, voluntary activities, and employment. Local organisations can support this by providing innovative non-clinical projects which sit beyond the traditional remit of specialist drug and alcohol misuse services.

The closing date for applications is 26th May 2023.
