Community Development Officer role at Community Connect Foundation

Community Connect Foundation (CCF) is recruiting for a Community Development Officer.

Hours: Fulltime: 37.5 hrs per week
Salary: £24,00.00 per annum

Community Connect Foundation provides a wide range of services to the communities of Smethwick. We have secured funding to provide a service aiming to engage and capacity build disadvantaged people, particularly minority ethnic communities living in the area.

We are seeking a full-time experienced Community Development Officer to develop and support capacity building activities with BAME communities, particularly the Bangladeshi community residing in Smethwick.

Our ideal candidate will be a good communicator, have substantial experience of working with hard-to-reach groups, have a good understanding of issues facing disadvantaged BAME communities and preferably be able to speak Bangla(desirable).
