Funding available for Community Research and Free Training this August! Limited spaces, book now!
The Black Country Community Research Partnership, supported by the National Institute of Health Research, is launching an exciting opportunity to fund VCSE organisations in the Black Country to learn about, and take part in, research around access to health and care services within our communities.
The Partnership is looking for diverse voluntary and community groups who are interested in becoming ‘community reporters’ – trusted voices working in our most vulnerable communities who will receive training to capture people’s experiences and stories. The community reporters will be supported to gather, curate, and mobilise stories that can give insight into people’s experiences of accessing health and care services.
No previous academic qualifications are needed; just people with good listening skills and experience of working within local settings. Free training will be provided, and your organisation will be funded to conduct research within your community. The Partnership will gather the information and produce reports that will capture your work, giving you evidence that can be useful when applying for future funding.
