The Sikh Helpline was established 25 years ago by CEO Giani Sukha Singh. The Sikh Helpline has developed itself to be a trusted point of contact for members of the community who are suffering in silence. The Sikh Helpline is a free professional and confidential telephone counselling and email inquiry service, available 24 hour a day, 7 days a week. It is the only registered charity of its kind, entirely funded from donations.
The organisation is hosting a Family Bike Ride on Sunday, 1st October 2023. Cyclists of all ages, from the heart of West Midlands, will gather at the local Gurdwara in the High Street, West Bromwich, from 8 am, to embark on a memorable journey. The route is 17 miles long with 12 stops. This event aims to raise crucial funds for a vital cause, extending a helping hand to those in need.
The route will take participants on a scenic adventure through Sandwell, passing by local Gurdwaras, and meandering through picturesque parks. It’s an opportunity for families, friends, and the entire community to come together, support a meaningful mission, and explore the beauty of their surroundings.
