Free Financial Training for Staff and Volunteers

As we are move into the autumn and winter months, the cost of living and budgeting will be more important than ever to the people we work with in the voluntary sector.

Citizens’ Advice Sandwell and Walsall is offering a selection of free training opportunities in a ‘train the trainer’ style for staff and volunteers, to help them support more people across the region.

Sessions include:
Week in the Life of a Family
Thursday 26th October 10.00 am – 1.30 pm
More in depth look at budgeting, income maximisation, priority bills.
Interactive and very informative.

Cost of Living, Financial Capability & Budgeting
Thursday 9th November 10.00 am – 12.30 pm
Overview of trusted websites, practical budgeting training and signposting.
This one will look at recent changes and new resources, including changes to the Sandwell Council website.

All training will be face to face at Smethwick Citizens Advice Office.
