Sandwell MBC are inviting local community and voluntary sector organisations to express their interest in applying for a grant of up to £40,000 to deliver a community-based mental health and wellbeing programme to support a number of different groups and communities.

The development of the Sandwell Mental Health Strategy has highlighted communities within Sandwell who would benefit from additional support for their mental health and wellbeing, or experience greater barriers to accessing support.

We are looking for projects that understand the needs and experiences of the identified groups/communities and are able to provide appropriate support.

This is the third round of funding for projects to be delivered over a 12-month period.

The funding is for projects to work with:

    1. People who are from Eastern European Communities
    2. People who are from Black, Black British, Caribbean or African communities

For further information and to request an application pack please contact: nicky_taylor@sandwell.gov.uk

The closing date for applications is 4pm on 8th December 2023
