Cradley Heath Community Centre will be hosting an Emergency First Aid at Work course, covering a variety of subjects including legislative requirements of Health and Safety at Work Act 1974, RIDDOR, which is the reporting of dangerous occurrences, and other legislative requirements such as accident reports.   The course will run from 9.30 am to 4.30 pm on 16th February. The cost is £60 per person

Training will also cover on-scene safety; keeping yourself, your bystanders and other people involved safe. Once this is complete, the course will look at ways of contacting the emergency services, keeping yourself safe from infection and infectious diseases by using barrier devices. The focus of the course is based on CPR, the use of a defib/AED and spotting the early signs of a heart attack, to be able to help save a life and promote the recovery of someone who has had a heart attack.
