Community Cancer Champion Training

Come and join our list of Cancer Champions – we currently have 150 Cancer Champions. The earlier cancer is detected the better the outcome for the people involved; why not top up your knowledge and confidence so that you can help yourself, your family members, patients and colleagues to raise awareness.

Over time it is hoped that you will have lots of opportunities to learn from health professionals, and to share the good things you have been learning about.

The training is completely free of charge, and will take place over three sessions which must be completed to finish the course.

Cancer Champion Session 1- Let’s Talk Cancer; Thursday 16th May, 09.00am-11.00am
Cancer Champion Session 2- The 3 Screening programs; Thursday 13th June, 09.00am – 11.00am
Cancer Champion Session 3 – Networks /Signposting; Thursday 11th July, 09.00am – 10.30am
