Life in Community CIC have received a grant from the Social Enterprise Boost Fund to enable them to recruit a Hub Administrator. This support has enabled them to focus on their income generation strategy, mainly focusing on bidding for contracts. Before the award the need for their services meant that they became bogged down in direct delivery, which hindered their ability to grow the organisation.

Kelly Cranston – Director of Programmes for Life in Community CIC – said that the grant had been pivotal in freeing up director time to allow them to bid for two NHS contracts – both of which they were awarded. This has been an amazing boost for them and will enable them to continue to grow their income generation model. More importantly it has allowed them to continue to support more local residents, of which they have supported over 60 local people (100+ indirectly).
