As Sandwell turns 50 – share your memories!
The Metropolitan Borough of Sandwell was formed on 1 April 1974 as an amalgamation of the county boroughs of Warley and West Bromwich under the Local Government Act 1972.
Sandwell Council would love to hear your stories and see your photographs and videos so they can celebrate Sandwell’s 50th anniversary.
To help mark the occasion, share your favourite memories of Sandwell from 1974 up to present, whether it be a story, video or photograph.
Your story could feature on the Council’s social media channels and the Celebrate Sandwell website.
Your memories will also help to showcase 50 years of Sandwell in the Sandwell Herald.
Send your memories to: celebrate_sandwell@sandwell.gov.uk
