Sandwell’s Big Help Out initiative is really simple – ‘Bring a Tin and Put Something in the Bin!’

During Volunteers’ Week and the Big Help Out weekend, June 3-9, we’re inviting you to help out the most needy in the borough.

Simply encourage your staff, client groups and audiences to drop a tin of food off at the nearest library during that week, and we’ll make sure they get to the local food bank.

You can find your nearest library and opening times here https://prism.librarymanagementcloud.co.uk/sandwell/assets/-/libraries.html

On Big Help Out weekend come and join us in a spring clean of two parks: Saturday June 8 at Haden Hill and Sunday June 9 at West Smethwick Park, both 10am-12noon. All equipment will be provided, and you can drop off food tins there too.

Share please on your social media and news outlets, and feel free to snap away when you drop off tins or put something in the bin, and share the good you’re doing for those in need.
