Do you work with children and young people who would benefit from extra professional support to help with their emotional health and wellbeing?

Through Sandwell Council’s Covid Recovery Funds, SCVO are launching a Schools Based Support Grant Programme.  Grants of a minimum of £20,000 and a maximum of £40,000 will be awarded to deliver projects up to the end of May 2025.

Grants will be awarded to providers who currently deliver Emotional Wellbeing support, e.g. counselling, mentoring or other therapeutic support in Sandwell Schools. Grants will be awarded to providers who can deliver support in one or more of the following areas:

    • Bereavement and Loss
    • Counselling
    • Distressed Behaviour
    • Domestic Abuse
    • Emotional Literacy
    • Social Skills and Relationships.

If you would like an application pack and are a not-for-profit organisation, please email Barbara@scvo.info stating your organisation’s name, contact details and Charity or Company Number as well as brief information about Emotional Wellbeing support your organisation has delivered in Sandwell in the last two years. Application packs will only be sent to those that meet these requirements.

The closing date for applications is 10.00 am on Tuesday 9th July.  Late applications will not be considered. In addition, there will be an open meeting online at 2.00 pm on Monday 24 June for potential applicants to ask any questions about the process.

Further details about booking a place at the meeting are in the Guidance Notes and Application Form.  For any other questions about this funding please email Barbara@scvo.info.
