Options For Life Awarded A Grant For Improvements To Their Sensory Garden

Options for Life are grateful to npower Business Solutions Foundation for awarding them a grant of £7,538.00 for their ‘Improvement to a Sensory Garden’ project.

The project is a thoughtful and comprehensive solution to the challenges encountered by their participants with profound and multiple learning disabilities (PMLD) at Acorn Lodge hub. The grant will partially allow them to install specialised equipment such as wheelchair swings, mirrors, and musical instruments as well as to plant sensory herbs. By creating an inclusive and accessible sensory garden, the project will directly address the needs of this specific group, providing them with opportunities for sensory stimulation, social interaction, and therapeutic engagement.
